The best thing about being a newborn baby photographer is getting to meet incredible families and hear all about their journey to becoming parents. I’ve heard some AMAZING stories.

And I LOVE all things new and delicate about a newborn.

Within the first few days of life, a newborn baby is a wonderful sleeper (during the day that is). They still love those curly positions (space was tight in the head quarters before eviction) and dont forget the warmth and noise in the womb. heart beats, talking, hair dryers, tummy gurgling – they are all rather noisy to the baby and what they are use to.

Above is the type of environment I try and recreate when I am photographing these perfect little human beings! OK, so maybe I have the gurgling tummy towards the end of my sessions.

I am still fascinated and in awe of this amazing creation and so truly grateful that I get to capture a moment as a newborn photographer of an ever changing little face.
